About the Role

The position is a summer temporary job, so we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their everyday lives. As a guard at our office in Gothenburg, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of work shifts varies, but is often between 6-12 hours either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends.

As a stationary guard, you deliver security on-site for one of our clients. Depending on which client you are with, the tasks may vary. You may work as a receptionist at a larger company or perform monitoring in the form of checking those entering and exiting, patrolling, alarm handling, and camera surveillance. Regardless of which client you work with, your primary task is to be alert and ensure that everything is in order. You work independently and under your own responsibility.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

It is advantageous if you

• Have worked with similar tasks before
• Have a background in the service industry
• Have a civil or military security guard training
• Are a trained guard

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work tempo. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who are applying are an independent person and trust your own abilities, quickly understand problems, and solve them creatively. For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
